California is the golden gate state and the land of entertainment and dreams. Lately, with the plummeting economy, it has become a land of broken dreams.

It seems as though no one is above the effect of the economy. Some folks are able to weather it a while longer, but at some point in time, being over extended is going to result in the same end result and they will get foreclosed on.
The smart people stayed at least close to their means and did not over do the mortgages and as long as they stay employed, there is a chance that they will survive the flood of foreclosures. The size of the problem, especially in California has surpassed epic proportions and is becoming something that will remain on the record books for a long time to come.
You can find bargains in the golden state if you look fastidiously and make sure that you document your choices and research them well before investing. Areas that offered a good return on the dollar before this crisis, will offer a good return on your dollar after the crisis.
Peoples taste in what they want and where they want to live and what types of climate and views they are after are not likely to change after the smoke clears. They are just more likely to look at it realistically after seeing all the hardships the nation is going through.
Hopefully the lessons that are being learned about the mistakes that were made that led to these problems will be forever etched into people’s minds so they are not going to let history repeat itself on this issue.
The bargains are going to be windfalls for the folks that can utilize the Internet wisely and locate the properties that will hold decent resell ability and there will be millionaires made out of the folks that do the research and buy wisely at this time.
